The king of late night Johnny Carson dead at 79
As I'm about to update this site, I just learned that Johnny Carson passed away at the age of 79 from Emphysema.
Johnny was the king of late night television with his 30 years of hosting on "The tonight show". His unassuming manner and Ironic wit endeared him with fans and tranformed late night TV.
Back in the late 80's, any chance I got to stay up late would have me glued on "The tonight show" to catch the hottest comics, sexy starlets and interesting interviews, not to mention some of his most memorable skits. There is no other that can replace him, especially not Jay Leno.
